Crispy Banana Filo Parcels

Fill filo pastry with banana and honey and serve with a FAGE Total Yoghurt and chocolate sauce.

Serve a dollop of FAGE Total 2% Yoghurt with these warm and crispy pastry parcels - packed with a banana and honey filling. FAGE Total is also used to make the chocolate sauce in this yoghurt recipe.


Serves 4
For the filo parcel:
2 large ripe bananas
2 tbsp honey
4 sheets filo pastry
A little egg wash
For the chocolate sauce:
200g FAGE Total 2%
100ml milk
100g milk chocolate

  1. Crush the bananas in a bowl and add honey to taste.
  2. Lay one sheet of filo pastry on the bench, brush with egg wash then lay another sheet on top, then egg wash the top layer.
  3. Cut into 4 strips then spoon 1/8th of the banana mix on to the strips and fold diagonally to form a samosa shape. Repeat with the second two sheets of filo pastry.
  4. Bake in the oven at 200°C until golden brown.
  5. Warm milk in a pan then add the chocolate. When the chocolate has melted fold in 100g yoghurt to make a rich chocolate sauce.
  6. Serve the parcels with the chocolate sauce and a dollop of FAGE Total 2% yoghurt.
