Grilled Lamb chops with FAGE Total and Olives

A satisfyingly tasty evening meal


Serves 4
1kg lamb chops
For the marinade:
3 tbsp FAGE Total Yoghurt
½ cup olive oil
1 lemon, zest
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh oregano
1 tsp fresh thyme
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp allspice
Salt & pepper
For the yoghurt sauce:
400g FAGE Total Greek Yoghurt
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh oregano, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
200g olive paste
1 tbsp olive oil

Serves 4
  1. Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade, add the lamb chops and place in the fridge for about 2 hours.
  2. Take the lamb chops out of the fridge about 45 minutes before cooking.
  3. Remove most of the marinade, add a bit of salt and barbecue, grill or cook on a griddle for 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on their thickness.
  4. To make the yoghurt sauce, mix all of the ingredients to make a smooth sauce. Serve with the lamb chops.
