Jam Thumbdrops

Grab the kids for a baking session and make these yummy jam drops.

Ingredients

100g FAGE Total

300g self-raising flour

50g caster sugar

2 medium eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 tbsp jam, use a mixture if you like

    Steps
  1. Heat the oven to Gas Mark 5 / 190°C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Sift flour and sugar into a large bowl. In a jug whisk the yoghurt, eggs, vanilla extract and 4 tablespoons of water until smooth. Add to the flour and mix well to form a soft dough.
  3. Rub your hands with a little oil, then roll the mixture, a heaped tablespoon at a time into balls about the size of a walnut. Place on the baking trays, spacing 3cm apart. With oiled hands, flatten each ball slightly, then using your thumb, make a small hollow in each.
  4. Spoon about ½ teaspoon jam into each hollow. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Cool completely on a wire rack.
