Chocolate and Cherry Parfait

30 minutes

Cherry Compote:

280g cherries, stemmed and pitted
28ml of water
29g butter
28g granulated sugar
8g cornstarch


6 chocolate cookies, roughly chopped
560g FAGE Total (with 0%, 2% or 5% fat)
Fresh cherries
Chocolate shavings

  1. Add all ingredients for compote to a medium saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally and reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for another 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
  4. To assemble the parfait, add about half of chopped cookies to the bottom of each glass. Top with 140g yogurt, half of compote and another 140g of yogurt.
  5. Top each glass with fresh cherries and chocolate shavings.
