Chocolate Orange Bread Pudding

Serve this chocolate and orange bread pudding with a big dollop of yoghurt.


FAGE Total, to serve

Medium sized brioche loaf, cut into bite-sized chunks

75g dark chocolate chunks

250ml whole milk

150ml double cream

2 tbsp golden caster sugar

2 ½ tbsp cocoa powder, sieved

Zest of 1 large orange

3 large eggs 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C / Fan 160C / Gas Mark 4. Divide the bread and the chocolate chunks between the buttered dishes.
  2. In a large jug, beat together the milk, cream, sugar, cocoa powder, orange zest and eggs, then pour into each ramekin to fill.
  3. Place the puddings in a deep side baking tin and half fill with recently boiled water from a kettle to form a bain marie. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is crunchy, the pudding has puffed up and the inside soft and gooey.
  4. Serve with a large dollop of FAGE Total yoghurt.
