Yoghurt Cinnamon Rolls

200 g of FAGE Total 5% yoghurt, FAGE Total 2% yoghurt, FAGE Total 0% yoghurt

200 g flour

16 g baking powder

8 g dry yeast

20 g corn oil

20 g brown sugar

10 g cinnamon

1 egg



100 g Fage Total 5% yoghurt, Fage Total 2% yoghurt, Fage Total 0% yoghurt

100 g white chocolate

Juice of 1 lemon

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Pour the baking powder, dry yeast and flour into a large bowl and mix. Then add the yoghurt and mix everything with a spoon. The dough will still be a little wet at this point, so pour in some flour, until the mixture is workable and smooth to the touch. This process will take approximately 5 minutes. Cover with a cloth and leave the dough to rest for 1 hour.
  3. Pour the dough onto a piece of baking paper and with a floured rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1.5 cm. At this stage, knead the dough quickly.
  4. Lightly drizzle the dough with corn oil, then sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon evenly over the dough.
  5. Quickly and gently roll the dough evenly to form the roll, then cut it into slices, making 8 rolls.
  6. Place the rolls of dough in a large baking tray covered with baking paper and leave them to rest for another 30 minutes.
  7. Beat the egg and spread it on the rolls, then cook for 15-18 minutes at 190°C.

  8. Glaze:
    Chop the white chocolate.
  9. Add the lemon juice to the yoghurt and mix well. Sprinkle the roll with cinnamon and garnish with the chopped white chocolate.
