Cream of Sweet Potato Soup

This sweet potato soup is a warming and hearty meal! The perfect Winter soup!


200g FAGE Total

1 tbsp olive oil

1 red onion, finely sliced

1 clove garlic, crushed

400g sweet potato, peeled, diced

1pt vegetable stock

Salt & pepper 


  1. In a heavy saucepan heat the oil on a medium heat, add the onion and garlic and sautee until soft.
  2. Add sweet potato and cook for a further 1-2 minutes. Then add the stock, bring to the boil and simmer until the sweet potato is soft.
  3. Once cooked remove from the heat and liquidise.
  4. Stir in the yoghurt, season and serve immediately. Do not re-boil as the soup may split.
