Honey Cinnamon Fruit Dip with Honey Glazed Almonds
250ml FAGE Total, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0% Yoghurt
2 tbsp honey
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Honey Glazed Nuts:
75ml flaked almonds
1 tbsp honey
Pinch kosher salt
- Dip. In a small bowl, stir together the yoghurt, honey, cinnamon and ginger until well blended. Set aside in the refrigerator.
Honey Glazed Almonds: Heat the almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- Once the nuts have achieved the desired golden color, add the honey, cinnamon and salt. Stir together and cook until the honey is a rich golden brown, approximately 2 minutes.
- Pour the nut mixture onto a plate and allow to cool in the freezer, approximately 5 minutes.
- Break apart the nuts and serve half of the mixture over the dip. As the dip gets eaten, add more nuts.
