Honey Cinnamon Fruit Dip with Honey Glazed Almonds



250ml FAGE Total, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0% Yoghurt

2 tbsp honey

ΒΌ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Honey Glazed Nuts:

75ml flaked almonds

1 tbsp honey

Pinch cinnamon

Pinch kosher salt

  1. Dip. In a small bowl, stir together the yoghurt, honey, cinnamon and ginger until well blended. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  2. Honey Glazed Almonds: Heat the almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Once the nuts have achieved the desired golden color, add the honey, cinnamon and salt. Stir together and cook until the honey is a rich golden brown, approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the nut mixture onto a plate and allow to cool in the freezer, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Break apart the nuts and serve half of the mixture over the dip. As the dip gets eaten, add more nuts.
